Free Bikes 4 Kidz Maryland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier, more independent childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize hundreds of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away in December to children referred to us by schools, churches, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. We've given away over 15000 bikes to Maryland children since 2019.

We have 50 rides across the country, including local rides: Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge in Easton, MD May 16, 17, 2026 where we have scenic (and flat!) route options of 30, 50, and 65 miles and Bike MS: Nation’s Capital in Reston, VA September 26, 2026, where we have trail options of approximately 30 and 50 miles and road routes of approximately 60 & 100 miles.
